Neal's Yard

A typical tourists visit to London includes visiting all the major attractions such as Buckingham Palace, the London Eye and Trafalgar Square, which is fine - but what about the hidden depths of London that most tourists don't get to see? There's a lot more to London than just the major landmarks. Just one of London's many hidden treasures is Neal's Yard.

Neal's Yard is a tiny, but colourful and quirky, courtyard located in central London, just a short walk away from Covent Garden, Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus. The tiny street contains a number of quirky cafés, perfect to sit and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee either inside or outside surrounded by the beautiful view of flowers and gorgeously decorated buildings the courtyard holds.

It's also home to Neal's Yard Remedies, a natural and organic health and beauty shop that has received a lot of hype within the blogging community. Although they have a number of shops around London, this is where it was originally founded in 1981.

In the likely event that you're visiting attractions nearby, I'd recommend that you visit Neal's Yard whether you're just passing through on your way to another attraction or stopping for a drink and some food, this hidden courtyard is bound to brighten your day.
